Konstantin von Schroder is a New York-based director whose visual style is rooted in dry humor, playful absurdity, and carefully crafted cinematic worlds. He is drawn to work that feels stylish without taking itself too seriously, combining strong compositions, distinctive production design, and character-driven comedy to create memorable images and moments.

His approach to commercial directing is heavily influenced by his background in cinematography. Lighting, composition, movement, and texture are integral to how he develops an idea, with a particular interest in nostalgic imagery, practical environments, and slightly heightened worlds that still feel grounded.

On set, Konstantin brings a calm and collaborative approach, translating creative concepts into a clear visual direction while giving each department room to contribute to the larger idea.

He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2021 with a B.F.A. in Film and Television, specializing in directing and cinematography.
